Challenge

Challenge! "jab koi mujhe challenge karta hia to mera khoon khol uthta hai" to say in Ajay Devgans movie from old age 'Hindi cinema'. Well I made it true today by completing one. Travelling through thousands of kilometers I landed in Hyderabad, my brothers home and just as everybody know he is a bachelor so first thing that comes up is the problems associated to it rather than advantages, the biggest one is of good food. Well I took the responsibility of cutting vegetables, of which we Indians are famous for, not so happily to be frank. Today a month has been passed and we were having rice from a very very long time so as to the limit that it seemed like a perennial task of eating it and eternal destiny to make it. But today we decided to break the chain of unending paranoia of good food by making a delicious Paav Bhaaji. I was sure that i am going to play a big role in this, whosoever has made this "dish" will know for certain that it takes more time to cut the vegetable then to cook and to eat combined. My brother challenged that "you can't cut all these vegetables in even an hour" Forget it you are going to waste your whole lot of time". I in my extreme pride went for it, the bet. I accepted with all the dignity and pride that "I will do it in half an hour". But wait what was at stake? Pride? Diginity? Image? No no no no no no no no.
The thing that is being loved by thousands and adored by millions, Bournville. It was right there in front of us and we shook our hands on it. I sat down there waiting for the time to come to start my peregrination with utmost strength and zest.
At exactly noon my brother flagged me green. I ran and without any help started like Shahrukh Khan of Duplicate to chop peal cut whatever was in front of me. I was constantly being motivated by the distant voices Cut! Cut! Cut! Cut! Cut! Cut!
Time was running out and I was lagging behind. Time has passed no faster than this. People say if you want to ask the importance of 5 minutes then ask an engineer writing a paper, if you want to ask the importance of a millisecond ask an athlete, if you want to know the importance of millisecond then ask Michael Schumacher but, but if you want to ask the importance of 30minutes than ask me. I was concentrating more than I did in my engineering examinations and it was a time to prove myself to the world that Ankur Singhal is no less than others. May I will get a call from Master Chief Australia, but anyway with 2 minutes still left in the clock I did it and I did it with the sleight of my hand everything was perfectly done and that too in as clean as possible. It is being truly said that you don’t just eat it you have to earn a Bourneville.
